Tribal Affairs

NON-PROFIT ACCOUNTING FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS has very unique needs that for-profit software systems do not adequately address. While for-profit financial accounting systems will manage revenues from gaming and other revenue generating operations, they offer very little management in regards to grant/fund accounting.

FUND ACCOUNTING software must satisfy the requirements of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. As a primary provider of grants for services and programs that include: tribal government and community infrastructure, education, job training and employment opportunities, the BIA requires an accurate accounting of these funds and their allocations. The scope of these programs cover the entire range of Federal, State, and Local services. Additionally, the system must correctly account for any of the regularly scheduled distributions to Tribal members, where applicable.
